To recall, the BlackBerry DTEK50 was launched back in July this year, and began shipping in select regions in August. The BlackBerry DTEK60 on the other hand, after numerous third-party retail and official listings, was finally launched late last month. The latter sports a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
Both smartphones run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with BlackBerry's skin on top. The customisation alongside BlackBerry Enterprise services, and the DTEK by BlackBerry app, makes the company call them the 'world's most secure Android smartphones'. The company's also touting that the smartphones are ready for enterprise adoption with its Enterprise Mobility Management solutions.

The single-SIM (Micro-SIM) BlackBerry DTE50 sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with a pixel density of 424ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED flash, and a 6-element lens with an f/2.0 aperture. It is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0, and rated to deliver up to 26 hours of talk time, and up to 14 days of standby time. Connectivity options include 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and NFC. It measures 153.9x75.4x7mm and weighs in at 165 grams.
